All drivers using minibuses, must have a valid MiDAS certificate and a valid driver's licence (to include D1 class). This is not required for the people carrier. All drivers will be required to produce their drivers licence and produce additional identification.

If none of your drivers have MiDAS, training for this can be provided by CCT (charge applicable). For more information about MiDAS and the training we can provide please see our Driver Training sheet.

VEHICLES

Our wheelchair accessible MINIBUSES are generally laid out for 6 to 8 seated passengers and 2 wheelchair occupants. If additional seats are required (up to 7) this can be arranged. However, we may need to charge for the installation and removal of these seats.

Our wheelchair accessible PEOPLE CARRIERS are capable of carrying 1 to 3 passengers and 1 wheelchair occupant comfortably. A variety of seating plans are available.

FUEL

A fuel card is issued with each vehicle. We will not reimburse cash payments for fuel.

INSURANCE

Included in the charge is an insurance cover. However, an excess of £200 applies to each insurance claim for damage to a CCT vehicle whilst it is being driven by a community group/individual. The group/individual will be liable for payment of this excess irrespective of whether the accident was caused by the group or individual or by the actions of a third party. The group/individual will have to make their own arrangements if they wish to recover this amount from the third party.

Booking of the vehicle will need to be made in advance, in order that the availability of the vehicle can be confirmed.

Please give us at least 2 working days notice for a cancellation, otherwise a charge may be due.

Keys are issued during 9:00 am to 17:00 pm weekdays or by arrangement.

It may not be possible for a vehicle to be picked up prior to the booked time nor returned late, as another group may have booked it for these times.
