DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE - FAQ

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE ?

We charge an annual registration fee.

Transport charges are calculated on where you live and the distance you need to travel. (Please see our charges sheet for more information).

HOW DO I BOOK TRANSPORT ?

You can book by ringing 01242 515388 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm,

Monday to Friday.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL ?

You are asked to give us a minimum of 2 DAYS notice when cancelling a journey.

If you cancel on the day or after 12 noon on the previous day, there will be a CANCELLATION CHARGE of £2.25 per person, whatever the reason.

Please make sure you contact the office 01242 515388 if you need to cancel.

It is not sufficient to tell the driver.

Cancelling journeys at short notice means that we are unable to reallocate that time slot when someone else could have been carried. Therefore, if a customer consistently cancels, we may have to review or possibly cancel their registration.

WILL I BE PICKED UP ON TIME ?

We will always endeavour to pick you up at the requested time and to keep your appointment. However, due to traffic or passenger delays this cannot be guaranteed. Please ensure that you are ready to travel 15 MINUTES either side of your requested time.

In order that delays do not build, drivers will only be able to wait 5 MINUTES if you are not ready to travel.

There may be times, because of driver shortage, when we have to cancel your journey. We will always try to give you as much notice as possible if this happens.

It is NOT possible for drivers to search hospital buildings. Please ensure you are at the agreed pick up point.
